A practical guide to estimated Lorcana pack odds, booster-box expectations, Legendary pulls, Enchanted cards, Iconic cards and how this simulator models them.
Disney Lorcana booster packs contain cards across several rarity levels, and the most exciting pulls can feel very scarce. This guide explains the pack structure used by the simulator, how booster boxes are modelled, and what the site means when it talks about Legendary, Enchanted, Iconic and foil pulls.
Ravensburger does not publish a single official pull-rate table that covers every set, product type and print run. The numbers below are therefore simulator estimates and broad collector expectations, not official guarantees. Use them to understand possible outcomes, then try the pack opener to see how variance can feel across packs and boxes.
6 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 2 Rare-or-higher cards, 1 foil or special card
Rare-or-higher cards
Two non-foil rare-plus slots per pack
Legendary cards
Booster-box mode targets 2-4 non-foil Legendaries per 24-pack box
Enchanted cards
Unofficial simulator estimate: about 1 in 108 packs (0.93%)
Packs per booster box
24 packs, or 288 total cards
Guaranteed?
No. These are simulator estimates, not real-world guarantees.
Lorcana pack composition
The simulator follows the core structure collectors expect from a normal Disney Lorcana booster pack. The first nine slots are lower-rarity cards, the next two slots are Rare, Super Rare or Legendary, and the final slot is a foil or special-treatment card. Enchanted and Iconic pulls live in that final special slot in this model rather than replacing the two rare-plus slots.

How it is used
Common
6
Drawn from pack-pullable non-foil Common printings.
Uncommon
3
Drawn from pack-pullable non-foil Uncommon printings.
Rare plus
2
Rare, Super Rare or Legendary. Fabled can allow Epic here when the set supports it.
Foil or special
1
Usually a foil card; occasionally a higher-rarity foil, Enchanted, Iconic or supported chase treatment.
Rarity and treatment guide
Common
The most frequent gameplay rarity in the simulator, used in six fixed pack slots.
Uncommon
Sits above Common and fills three fixed pack slots.
Rare
The baseline card type for the two rare-plus slots.
Super Rare
Less common than Rare and included in the rare-plus slot mix.
Legendary
The highest normal gameplay rarity in most sets and a key booster-box hit.
Enchanted
A premium alternate-art chase rarity. In this simulator it appears only in the foil or special slot.
Iconic
A newer chase rarity when present in imported set data. It is handled as an extremely scarce special-slot pull.
Foil / Cold Foil
A finish or treatment, not a gameplay rarity. A foil card can still be Common, Rare, Legendary, or another rarity.
Estimated Legendary pull rates
In single-pack mode, the rare-plus slots use a weighted rarity selection. With the default model, Rare, Super Rare and Legendary are weighted 8:3:1 for each rare-plus slot, when those rarities are available in the selected set. That makes a Legendary possible in either rare-plus slot, but still much less common than a normal Rare.
Booster boxes are handled differently. Instead of rolling all 48 rare-plus slots independently, the simulator builds a box-level rarity mix first. The default target is 2-4 non-foil Legendary rare-plus pulls per 24-pack box, with an average around 2.9. Super Rare pulls target 6-8 per box, averaging around 6.9. The remaining rare-plus slots are filled by Rare cards.
Estimated Enchanted pull rates
Enchanted cards are premium alternate-art chase cards, and they are usually the cards collectors most want to see at the back of a pack. The simulator currently uses an unofficial estimate of about 1 in 108 packs (0.93%) for sets that contain Enchanted printings. In booster-box mode, that works out to a box-level chance of roughly 22.2% before availability checks, so most boxes contain no Enchanted card.
Real packs can differ because of collation, print runs, batching, product type and simple randomness. A lucky box can feel far above expectation, and a dry stretch can happen even when the long-term average is unchanged.
The simulator recognises Iconic cards when they are present in the imported set data. Iconic is treated as a very scarce foil-or-special-slot outcome, using an unofficial configurable estimate of about 1 in 1500 packs (0.07%). Iconic is checked before Enchanted in the special-slot model, but only sets with Iconic cards can pull one.
Current prerendered data shows Iconic cards in: Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, Wilds Unknown, Attack of the Vine.
What can you expect in a Lorcana booster box?
A booster box in this simulator contains 24 packs: 288 total cards, 48 rare-plus slots and 24 foil-or-special slots. The model uses target ranges for booster boxes so a sealed box feels closer to broad collector expectations than 24 completely independent single-pack rolls.

Important note
Rare
usually 36-40
Fills whatever remains after Super Rare, Legendary and supported Epic rare-plus slots.
Super Rare
6-8
Targeted at box level, then shuffled into packs.
Legendary
2-4
Targeted at box level, not guaranteed in every exact count.
Foils
24 foil-or-special slots
One per pack; most are Common or Uncommon foils.
Rare foils
2-4
Part of the normal foil-slot target range.
Super Rare foils
0-1
Possible but uncommon in the foil slot.
Legendary foils
0-1
Possible but uncommon in the foil slot.
Enchanted
0 most boxes; occasionally 1
A rare special-slot outcome, not guaranteed.
Iconic
0 in almost every box; only when the selected set has Iconic cards
Only possible when the selected set has Iconic printings.
Run a quick read-only sample using the simulator's current pack generator. This does not save cards to your collection and does not increment site-wide pack stats.
Pick a set and run a sample to see one possible 100-pack outcome. The result is a snapshot of variance, not a prediction.
Why pull rates vary
Pull rates are averages, not promises. Even a fair model can produce streaks: several strong packs close together, or many packs with no major chase card. Physical products add more variables, including factory collation, print-run changes, regional product differences, batching, product type and small sample sizes. A single booster box is only 24 packs, so it is too small to prove or disprove a long-term rate.
That is why this page avoids presenting exact official Ravensburger odds. The simulator is best used as a practical way to feel the range of possible outcomes and understand why chase cards can be exciting without being predictable.
Simulator methodology
Single packs use weighted rare-plus slots and a separate foil-or-special slot. Booster boxes use a box-level rarity deck for the 48 rare-plus slots, then shuffle those targets into 24 packs. Special cards such as Enchanted and Iconic are selected from the imported pack-pullable printings for the chosen set. The goal is to mimic broad collecting expectations, not exact factory collation.
As better public information or corrected card data becomes available, the model can be adjusted. The current settings are intentionally labelled as unofficial estimates.
Ravensburger does not publish one universal Enchanted pull-rate guarantee for every product. This simulator uses an unofficial estimate of roughly 1 Enchanted per 108 packs when a set has Enchanted cards.
How many Legendary cards are in a Lorcana booster box?
In booster-box mode, this simulator targets roughly 2 to 4 non-foil Legendary cards in the 48 rare-plus slots, with a small chance of an additional Legendary foil.
Is an Enchanted card guaranteed in a booster box?
No. The simulator rolls Enchanted cards as rare special-slot outcomes. Most 24-pack boxes will have no Enchanted card, and an Enchanted should not be treated as guaranteed.
Can a Lorcana pack contain more than one high-rarity card?
Yes. Each simulated pack has two Rare-or-higher slots, and the foil or special slot can also be a higher-rarity foil or chase card.
Are foil cards separate from normal rarity?
Foil is a treatment, not the same thing as gameplay rarity. A card can be Common foil, Rare foil, Legendary foil, Enchanted, Iconic, or another supported special treatment depending on the set data.
Are Lorcana pull rates the same for every set?
Not always in this simulator. Most sets use the same default model, but sets can have different available rarities, chase printings, and configured overrides where the card data or product pattern requires it.
Does this simulator use official pull rates?
No. It uses transparent simulator estimates and community-style expectations, not official Ravensburger guarantees.
Can opening simulated packs predict what I will pull in real life?
No. Simulated results are useful for understanding possible outcomes and collection variance, but they cannot predict the contents of a physical pack or box.
